Our services are currently limited to DC members only. Key services include:
1) Study design. We provide assistance with overall design considerations including formulation of research questions and hypotheses, selection of appropriate sampling scheme/endpoints, and statistical analysis planning.
2) Bioinformatics analyses. We provide standard NGS analyses (well defined and relatively limited in scope) and custom analyses. Our standard analyses include:
Type of Experiment | Analysis and Results |
RNA-Seq | Differential gene expression, gene set enrichment, pathway/network analysis |
Single-cell RNA-Seq | Cells clustering, cluster biomarkers identification, subpopulations discovery |
CHIP-Seq | Peak calling, peak differential analysis, peak related genes analysis |
ATAC-Seq | Open chromatin sites identification |
We also perform semi-custom and custom analyses tailored to your specific needs. Custom services include statistical analysis, pipeline development/modification, databases mining and manuscript preparation. Please Contact Us for more information.
3) Teaching. We are planning to develop training programs to equip researchers with in-demand bioinformatics skills. Topics will include Basic UNIX for Biologists, Introduction to R, Introduction to Python, Galaxy fundamentals. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops/training!
Cost guidelines:
Consultations & study design: Free (up to 1 hour /week) for DC members.
Standard analyses: Free for DC members.
Semi-custom & Custom analyses: Small-scale custom projects are billed hourly, and vary depending on the complexity of the project. Long-term projects are frequently paid for as "percent effort" on a grant. Please Contact Us to get a price estimation for your project.
